Books

There comes a moment in every woman's life when she doesn't just glance in the mirror—she pauses to see herself truly.

Not the polished version. Not the one who smiles through the ache.

But the woman behind the eyes. The one who has been holding it all together, wondering when it will finally be her turn to rest.

I remember my moment well. I was tired in my body and in my spirit. I smiled, I showed up, and I handled it! On the inside, I felt empty.

And then I heard a question rise in my spirit: La Vonne, "Do you want to be made well?" (John 5:6)

That's when God gave me the message that became this book: From Weary to Well.

This is more than a book.

It's a lifestyle—a sacred experience designed to help you exhale, reconnect, and rise.

I know what it’s like to feel tired in a way that sleep can’t fix.

You wake up already tired, even before the day starts. You give your best to everyone else and quietly wonder if anyone is looking out for you. You lose yourself so gradually that one day you realize you can’t remember who you were before you put others first.
I’ve felt that way too.
When my seven-year relationship ended suddenly, I sat on my bedroom floor and wondered who I was without someone else to care for. I had focused so much on keeping the relationship going that I set aside my own gifts. I stopped creating. My journal stayed closed. My once vibrant voice grew quiet—not because I had nothing to say, but because I stopped believing my words mattered. For years, I hid parts of myself just to fit in, to be accepted, and to get by.
And when it ended, I didn't just lose the relationship. I came face-to-face with a woman I had forgotten. That's when the slow, unapologetic work of returning from Weary to Well. I wish I could tell you it happened overnight. It didn't. But here is the beauty: every step was necessary.
Healing took something deeper—honesty, stillness, and a true yes to myself.
That time taught me that coming back to myself isn’t about treating my life like a project. It’s about letting go of the habit of doubting who I already am.
