How to Use This Practice

The purpose is to hear your own voice and let your journal hold what you are no longer carrying.

  1. Find a quiet space. Bring your journal and something to write with.

  2. Press play.

  3. For the first minute, read the script out loud, slowly.

  4. When you feel ready, let the words move into writing.

  5. When the song ends, read your last line out loud like a closing statement.

If you get emotional, you are not doing it wrong.
Just breathe, pause, and keep going when you can.
